Britney Spears Offered Cinderella Role In Pantomime

Britney Spears has reportedly been offered the role of Cinderella in an upcoming pantomime production. According to The Sun, Spears was offered almost one million dollars to take the role which was turned down by Kim Kardashian.

"It is very much based on the traditional Cinderella, with a few twists, Britney will feature and maybe sing a song or two - but the rest of the cast will carry the burden. There will be some big name co-stars. Britney was one of a number of big name stars who were approached - you name a female star they were approached - but the others didn’t work out and they have opted for her. She is a still huge name who is much-loved by British fans - she will definitely attract people to come along and see her. A star of her standing isn’t cheap - but she will be worth every penny if she can attract sell-out audiences," said a source close to the production.

Britney Spears is reportedly very close to inking the deal which will have her playing Cinderella for five weeks in London, presumably after she finishes up her residency at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas -- or, at least, while she's on hiatus. The show is set to run this winter.

Spears is also set to release a new album sometime in the next couple of weeks. This  will be her ninth studio album and her first in over two years (Britney Jean was released in 2013).
