Yes, she's doing it again! According to the latest Britney Spears news, the pop star is releasing another studio album. Sources say Britney's dropping the new music sooner than you think -- in a matter of weeks.

Vegas Deluxe entertainment reporter, Robin Leach, posted a telling tweet on Sunday and shook up social media. Britney Spears' big reveal is scheduled for Monday, but the veteran journalist let the cat out the bag. Nonetheless, fans are all too pleased by the complimentary leak, as shown by the over 100,000 retweets.

Britney is hard at work on her Piece of Me residency at Las Vegas' Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino. It's hard to fathom that she has time to do anything else, let alone release a new album. But it's been a long time coming.

In a recent V Magazine cover story, Britney gushed about the resurgence of her career and having the opportunity to do what she does best -- make music, entertain fans, and display her awesome abs (video below).

“I just know that the direction I’m going in is so good. It’s the best thing I’ve done in a long time. I’m proud of the work, and it’s very different; it’s not what you would think at all. But I’m not rushing anything. I just want it to be done right so that my fans will truly appreciate it."

Undoubtedly, fans are on edge about what Britney Spears is cooking up in the studio. Will she go straight pop music again or mix it up with some Weeknd-esque flows? What about collabs? Things that make you go, hmm, right?
