Britney Spears To Be Honored With Millennium Award AND Perform At The Billboard Music Awards — Get The Deets!

It's almost time for the Billboard Music Awards, and we're more excited than ever — thanks to Britney Spears!

It was revealed on Monday that the 34-year-old artist will be the recipient of this year's Billboard Millennium Award for her outstanding career achievements in the music industry!

The last couple years, the awards show has handed out the honor to other incredible artists such as Beyoncé and Whitney Houston.

If that's not exciting enough, the Toxic singer took to Twitter to confirm those rumors and share:

What's even more impressive is that Britney already has SIX Billboard Music Awards thanks to her AH-Mazing career which includes debuting six of her albums at the number 1 spot on the Billboard 200, as well as having 24 top 40 singles on the Billboard Hot 100!

The show will be hosted by Ludacris and Ciara and will air live on May 22 on ABC at 8 pm EST!
